Tracy K and her Right Hand Band is a great act, no doubt about it. Tracy K in her variety of musical endeavours is a crowd pleaser and a draw. Her foot-stompin' kitchen party Blues Duo has been delighting audiences across Ontario and Manitoba over the recent past. Stepping out with the guitarist from her Right Hand Band in a jazz duo is proving to be a real good thing. Combining their undeniable talent and musical styles with their fun loving characters is results in an entertaining show. Their sound is derived from classic jazz and blues - 1920's - 50's pop, if you will. You'll hear some originals, some roots based tunes, Tony's great jazz guitar pieces and the signature vocal and harmonica stylings of Tracy K done with personality and witty delivery. The first time Tony and Tracy performed as guests with Julian Fauth at Gate 403 in T.O., the owner was so pleased with their sound, she offered them multiple dates and Tony has been booked as a Sunday brunch regular. 

Tony is a MONSTER guitarist - one of the TOP in Canada. He's one of those accomplished, respected, one-in-a-million players, who lights the way for many other guitarists as a mentor and teacher. His unique style is neither over-bearing or tedious, as he strikes the right chord in every musical style that he graces with his licks. Tony's playing has been unquestionably compared to Lenny Breau and Chet Atkins, with a healthy nod to Skunk Baxter. He has an impressive resume that crosses geographical borders and musical genres. He was living in Winnipeg for twenty years and is now back in T.O., his hometown, where he worked at Ring Music in the seventies. When he showed up and played at a Toronto Fingerstyle Guitar Association open stage as an "unknown" recently, he was invited to be a featured performer in the same breath! He is being booked rapidly now that he is being re-discovered in Toronto. You will not want to miss experiencing this amazing musician.

Tracy K possesses the charisma, talent, and versatility instinctive of great performers. It's her amazing voice that captivates, sounding something like Janis Joplin, Bonnie Raitt, Billie Holiday, or Melissa Etheridge. Fans have experienced Tracy K fronting her own projects, singing harmonies with other artists, and as a featured vocalist at special events over the years. She keeps busy on a wide variety of musical projects, and likes to tour as a four piece band or acoustic duo. Her music has taken her from Canada to the Caribbean as a stand-alone attraction and on playbills with other greats. Well known on the Canadian Blues scene, Tracy K’s talents have earned multiple awards and she is notably Canada's first female to be named 'Harmonica Player of the Year'. A couple of Tracy K’s numerous personal thrills over the years include being the first female featured at the Toronto Blues Society’s Harmonica Workshop, opening for harmonica legend James Cotton and sharing a playbill with one of her first female blues influences the late great Koko Taylor, and performing in concert with the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra selections from early jazz and the Billie Holiday songbook.
