"WOW!! What a band!!!" - a fan word on the street is that the Right Hand Band is one of the hottest, tightest bands around, and here's why

On Electric Lead Guitar - Toronto born Tony "is that one or twoguitars" Desmarteau, has been working with TracyK since their debut as a duo in March 2000. Tony is one of those accomplished, respected, one-in-a-million players, who lights the way for many other guitarists as a mentor and teacher. His unique style is neither over-bearing nor tedious, as he strikes the right chord in every musical style that he graces with his licks. He has an impressive resume that crosses geographical borders and musical genres. Tony can also be experienced with many other notables both live and recorded. Check out his site for an in depth trip with Tony. Just click on his name right here - tonydesmarteau.com
Electric Bass - Vaughan "Bad Son" Poyser, has quickly and favourably worked his way into the Right Hand Band where he definitely has the right stuff to be one of the core. His dynamic stage presence helps make the show. He has some of the nicest bass guitars around, is highly trained, teaches private lessons, has worked with some darn big names in some darn big places. His musical contribution to the Right Hand Band is invaluable and TracyK is soooo proud to have him on board!!! Check THIS out: vaughanpoyser.com
On Drums - Tyrone "Good Son" Rogers, 2006 recipient of the WinnipegBlues.com Music Award for Drummer of the Year. He has a lengthy resume of accomplishments as a drummer in demand. He teaches private drum lessons and is a proud recipient of an endorsement with Ayotte drums. He has great feel and a keen sense of dynamics - TracyK loves him, and says he's truly a musical drummer who plays to the melody and lyrics. His contribution to the sound of the band makes it complete - and keeps everyone in time! RECENTLY, TY HAS BEEN USING HIS "ZENDRUM" IN THE SHOWS - IT'S AMAZING! Ask him about his paintings sometimes....www.tyrogers.ca

and a list of past, present and future accomplices:
On electric, fretless, and stand-up bass - The longest running member of The Right Hand Band is Nenad Zdjelar,
affectionatelyknown as "Keza". They played their first gig in Winnipeg together, on a Wednesday night in October
1998 at the Windsor, and have been together ever since. Keza emmigrated here from Yugoslavia that same fall,
where he was a full time double (contra) bass player for the Belgrade Opera. He toured extensively with them, and played in other projects ranging from blues to rock-a-billy to celtic. He's Russian trained, mild mannered, clean cut, and one heck of a musician! Since arriving in Winnipeg, he adds to his impressive resume recordings with Kristi Johnston, Paris to Kiev, symphony and chamber concerts, swing ensembles, and plenty of jazz and blues gigs.
On slide, resonator, and acoustic guitar - Jamie "Snakeman" Steinhoff could very well be Thunder Bay's (if not North-Western Ontario's) best kept secret! His country blues/east piedmont/fingerstyle acoustic playing bares the influence of Mississippi John Hurt, Blind Boy Fuller, Doc Watson stylings. His slide work on resonator guitar and electric lap steel have a style that he can call his own, developed after decades of listening to and playing along with all the greats. He's also been caught messin' with a banjo - impressively, too! A treat is the acoustic material that he has been developing with Tracy K. One to watch......
Now and Then On Keyboards - Leonard "Lewsh" Shaw, from "Guess Who" fame, also blows sax and delivers great vocals, has extensive road experience and musical education. He works for the best players in Winnipeg, including the bands Ministers of Cool, Electric Lunchbox, Blues 4 A Living, and with the CBC frequently. Tracy has had great performance moments outside of her own gigs with Lewsh. His website is www.theguesswhosite.com/lshaw.html. Craig "the King" Fotheringham, has won several awards for producing and performing, and is the regular keyboardist for popular country act Foster-Martin and with Curtis "Blues" Newton. He played at many of her live shows and co-produced Tracy's first cd which was partially recorded at his studio.
She's jammed & gigged with countless many, too many to mention. Keeping this list updated is next to impossible, there's been so many.
